Productivity Solutions
A unique approach that we have taken to make implementation of toxicology confirmation assays easier is creating kits that combine validated extraction and instrumental analysis with the consumables necessary for the methods. We call these kits “productivity solutions,” because they are intended to get you up and running customer specimens quickly with productive methodology.
The methods contained in the kits have been validated using SAMHSA validation criteria for linearity, precision and specificity and are designed for use on the DSQ II. The assays that are included are those regulated by SAMHSA: carboxy-THC, benzoylecgonine, PCP, amphetamines and opiates.
Contents of the kit include an SOP covering the extraction and GC/MS analysis of the five assays, a quick start guide to get new users familiar with best practices with the DSQ II, the necessary consumables to get you started, and one of our toxicology specific software platforms.
The kits come in two flavors: TurboTox and EasyTox. The extraction and instrumental methods contained in both are the same and include the five assays listed above. The difference between the two kits is that the TurboTox kit contains ToxLab 2.0 and the EasyTox kit contains ToxLab Forms 2.5, and the supporting literature and instrument methods reflect this difference.
These two kits are ideal for anyone starting up a new lab, adding urine drug confirmations to an existing lab, or anyone who wants to update their current analyses to more productive methodologies.
