Is learning Photoshop easy?

No!

" The Zen of Photoshop is to design what you want your audience to say."

Being a seasoned writer...I am a clumsy artist. For two years, I've been trying to do this crossover. Try this experiment if you want to feel what I'm feeling-->>Tie up your dominant hand. Now try working with your less dominant hand. Feel different? Humbling isn't it?

ImageReady practice. Check it out. This was my absolute FAVORITE skill to learn. I can see this useful in testing different hair colors, house paint colors, and fashion colors.

Web Usability: Ex2 Tasmania.
This was a jigsaw puzzle of assorted pieces you see here: 3 images, and 3 blocks of text. Our assignment was to arrange the pieces on a 800 x 600 page.
Fire Dept

Webs: Ex 3 Sheffield Fire Department.
This was a lesson in Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity. 1. Contrast: Background is red and yellow; commonly associated with fire and flames. 2. Repetition: Times* Font used for Headings. Arial for body text. I emphasized the phone number, because it’s like the first thing you need to know when you think of fire department. 3. Alignment: This was my biggest challenge. Aligning the body text so that it could still be read with the fiery background. And it will have to serve as a text-box size for any link. Obviously, this client should not have allot of text. 4. Proximity: The links are close to the Title heading.

Who Am I?

Web Usability Ex 4: CyberSelf.
800x600 description of who I am, 5 places I visited, some common things I did in each place I visited.

EX 8 Final Political Campaign

Web Usability Final: Political Campaign Website.
I spent hours designing this and all the pages. And then I had a wicked wild idea to make something different....which I did. See below---|

I don't think the teacher really enjoyed this any better than he enjoyed the rest. But by this time, I was doing it for me!
1StarGypsyJan 2006. Just started working out drawing with my Wacom tool instead of pencil and paper. FemmeMusicFeb 2006. I'd like to try to make a flash mp3 player out of this design. Action Script (AS) is a drag to learn, though.
WhiteWolf My dogFeb 2006. So, now I'm working with dimension, using Starbuck my dog as my model and inspiration. redLadyDreamFeb 2006. Psycological illusions have fascinated me since 1976, and using art effects makes it a warmer way to play. I'm just playing...
PurpleDreamJan 2006. This is my Purple/Black Dream I had in January.
